What are the special advantages of Injection Lipolysis?
Injection Lipolysis achieves a permanent reduction in fat deposits, especially in those places that cannot be specifically targeted by dieting or exercise. The treatment is gentle, virtually pain-free, low risk with no downtime and your ability to work is not impaired.
How many treatments are necessary?
As a rule, most patients require 1-4 treatments at intervals of 1-2 weeks apart. 1 injection (0.5ml) or 50 units on a insulin syringe will cover a 10x10cm ares. A small overlap will be good to prevent uneven slimming. Multiple areas can be treated at a time. The limit is 50 injections every 3 weeks, because you need to give your body time to excrete the fat deposits that is floating around in the body after the fat cells has been destroyed.
When will I be able to see results?
Results may be visible approximately 2-4 weeks post treatment with the majority of changes occurring between 4-6 weeks. In some instances, the patient may not notice anything until after the second treatment.
Some quick facts about Injection Lipolysis (IL)
Lipolysis is the latest thing in non-invasive (non-surgical) cosmetic treatments that gradually and permanently removes unwanted fat cells from specific target areas.
As there are a few nerve fibers in the subcutaneous tissue, the injections are not painful. Clients only feel a slight initial prick and for the first few hours a slight sensation of itching and/or the tissue warming. After the treatment the area could feel tender to pressure for about 48 hours. Be patient this process keeps working for several months!
Lipolysis means – the decomposition of fat cells.
“Injection Lipolysis involves subcutaneous injections using a substance that causes the fat cell to decompose permanently”
Injection Lipolysis involves direct placement of the natural solution using a very thin needle (Insulin needle) into the subcutaneous tissue. The solution then breaks down the membranes of the fat cell’s and impairs the cell’s ability to function. Our immune system responds as it does to any foreign substance in the body and disposes of the fat naturally. The skin is nourished and retracts smoothly over the re-contoured area.
For years Cardiologists have been giving patients Phosphatidylcholine (PPC), extracted from soy, to help unclog arteries and lower cholesterol. That same technology is now used cosmetically to remove fat. PPC is abundant in the body and they contribute to cell membrane integrity and metabolizing fat.
Injection Lipolysis therapy has grown rapidly worldwide due to its success for reducing: spot fat, wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks, loose skin, Lipomas, infra-orbital eye fat pads and post Liposuction contouring of irregularities.
